About Does This Make Money?

There are countless products promising ways to make money online. Some contain genuinely useful ideas. Some are mediocre. Some are wildly overhyped.

Our job is to look at what’s actually being sold and explain it plainly:

• where the money actually comes from
• what you’d really have to do
• what it costs, including the parts after the front-end price
• what the seller tends to leave out
• whether the underlying method makes sense

We’re skeptical of hype, but we’re not anti opportunity. Making money online is real. The ridiculous promises around it often aren’t. Our whole reason for existing is to help you tell the two apart.

How we write reviews

We explain the business model first, then judge the product against it. Our verdicts and scores are editorial, set by us, based on the analysis. When we don’t know something, we say so rather than guessing. We never invent testimonials, prices, upsells or earnings.

How we make money

Some links on the site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them. That never determines our verdict, a product doesn’t score higher because it pays more.
