Subscriber Value Calculator
Once you know what a subscriber is worth, you know what you can afford to spend to get one. That single number is what turns an email list from a vanity metric into a business.
Revenue per subscriber
$0.60
Over the period you entered. Track it over time to see true value.
Max you could pay to acquire one
$0.30
At 50% of value. Anything under this can make sense; above it needs a longer payback.
How it works
Revenue per subscriber is the money your list produced divided by the number of subscribers. If 1,000 subscribers produced $600 in a month, each subscriber is worth about $0.60 that month. Track it over longer periods and it usually rises, which is what lets you spend more to acquire subscribers than a single email earns.
