SEO means getting pages to rank in search engines so people find you without paying for each click. The traffic is 'free,' but it's slow to build and takes real work to earn.
SEO is the practice of getting your pages to show up in search results for things people are already searching for. When it works, you get a stream of visitors who don't cost anything per click and who often arrive with clear intent, they typed the question, you answered it.
